Volcanoes & Regret

This show is a response to artist George Finlay Ramsay's piece Volcanoes & Regret. Ramsay's piece Volcanoes & Regret was the culmination of a three-year journey that pivots around the act of burning human regrets in volcanoes. First undertaken in 2017 when George Finlay Ramsay drove from the north of Scotland to Mount Etna in his old Volvo, Vulva, then again in 2018 on the remote volcanic peninsula of Kamchatka.

This show was first broadcast on artist Coby Sey's NTS radio show on the 4th January 2020 commissioned, by George Finlay Ramsay and supported by the Arts Council.
